I designed this standards-compliant website for the Graphic Design Department at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) around a clean, clear typographic hierarchy with optimal readability, find-ability and usability in mind.
The fundamental architecture of the site makes good use of the ExpressionEngine CMS: each course in the curriculum is dynamically cross-referenced to appropriate prerequisites, biographies of faculty members and images of student work in the gallery to allow for fluid navigation and an intuitive overall user experience. I also automated as much of the processes and content structure as possible so that the site can stay current on a day-to-day basis with minimal intervention from faculty and staff.
